Working
With PDF files:
All PDF files found at the Canine Learning Centers
site will have this icon by it
Viewing PDFs in the browser
This is the most common configuation when working with Adobe Acrobat
Reader files. PDF files on this site are set to open in a new
window to avoid losing your place if you accidentally close the
window.
If
the new window is blank and you get a file download dialog box
or another program opens to display the PDF, this means your system
is configured to view PDFs outside the browser. If you have Adobe
Acrobat Reader you can set your system to display PDFs in the
browser as follows:
·In
Acrobat Reader choose Edit > Preferences > Internet
( In Windows)
·Check "Display PDF In Browser",
and then click OK and close Acrobat Reader.
Viewing PDF outside the browser
If you have problems viewing PDFs in the browser you may want
to try viewing PDFs directly in Acrobat Reader.
·In
Acrobat Reader choose Edit > Preferences > Internet (Windows)
·Uncheck "Display PDF In Browser",
and then click OK and close Acrobat Reader.
NOTE:
PDF files on this site are set to open in a new window to avoid
losing your place if you accidentally close the window. If you
display PDF outside the browser the new window will still open,
but it will be blank.
